Katie Oberholtzer is a jazz vocalist originally from southern Maine, currently residing in New York City. In 2020 Katie earned her undergraduate degree in jazz studies with a concentration in vocal performance from the University of Southern Maine Osher School of Music. She then went on to earn her Master of Music degree in jazz vocal performance from the University of Miami Frost School of Music in 2022. While at Frost, Katie was a member of the award winning group, the Frost Sextet, with whom she performed at various prestigious venues including Dizzy’s Club at Lincoln Center. In 2023 Katie was privileged to be awarded second place in the International Ella Fitzgerald Jazz Vocal Competition. In 2021 Katie received two Downbeat Awards in the 44th Annual Student Music Awards: Best Jazz Vocal Soloist award, and Best Blues, Pop, Rock Group Award. In spring of 2022 Katie was honored to have won the Downbeat Award for Outstanding Jazz Vocal Soloist, as well as Best Large Jazz Vocal.

Danny Jonokuchi is a multi-talented jazz artist based in New York City and Los Angeles. As a jazz trumpeter, vocalist, composer, arranger, producer, and educator, few artists are as diversely involved in their craft. He has been recognized for his performance on two GRAMMY Award-Winning projects, and you can hear his compositions and “world-class arrangements” (Broadway World) in renowned jazz clubs, listen to albums he has arranged and produced, and hear him perform on Broadway stages.

Olivia Chindamo is a New York-based jazz vocalist from Australia whose unique voice effortlessly carries and delivers stories and melodies with the highest level of integrity, honesty and musicianship. With a special love for improvisation, Olivia’s musical endeavours offer a fresh combination of old and new as she continually fuses an ever expanding knowledge of jazz history with her modern sensibilities, impressive technique control and textural versatility. Having studied under the tutelage of some of America’s finest jazz musicians at the Banff International Workshop in Jazz & Creative Music in 2016, Olivia felt more drawn to the United States than ever before, inspiring her bold move to relocate to the other side of the world and fully pursue her love and passion for jazz music.

Mafalda Minnozzi - Saturday, October 5

Minnozzi arrived in the New York jazz scene by way of a long journey across three continents. Originating in Italy and evolving in Brazil to the USA with so many stops in between, the resulting language all comes together on her new release “NATURAL IMPRESSION”. After recording some 20+ albums in Brazil, the new album is her third in a series for the American jazz market in collaboration with producer, guitarist and arranger Paul Ricci. Her first, the critically acclaimed Brazilian based “Sensorial – Portraits in Bossa & Jazz” (2020) featured Art Hirahara, Rogerio Boccato, Essiet Okon Essiet, Will Calhoun, Victor Jones and Harvie S. and earned her Latin Jazz Artist of the Month on WUCF radio.

A renowned pianist, Piatigorsky is known for mixing powerful melodies with intense rhythms that make his sound and novel. Lucy Wijnands has toured all over the world, completed a 16-week residency singing with the world-famous Birdland Big Band, and has been a regular at Manhattan’s Mezzrow and other jazz clubs. She has won the prestigious Ella Fitzgerald competition, and picked up a degree in jazz studies from SUNY Purchase’s Conservatory of Music, graduating as an Ella Fitzgerald Scholar and President’s Award recipient.

Nominated 4 times for Press Ward, she was also a finalist for the Best of Brazil award in USA in 2022. He has performed alongside several famous Brazilian artists.

World Class Entertainer, Singer, Tap Dancer, Producer and Grammy Nominated Songwriter AC Lincoln is a modem day "Song and Dance Man". A native New Yorker, AC was "born in a trunk" to Jazz singing duo parents Kim and Marion while on their tour of The U.S. Virgin Islands. Landing back on the scene in NYC, AC would soon be sharing the stage at an early age with tap dance greats ("The Hoofers") including Jimmy Slyde, Buster Brown, Chuck Green and Savion Glover. An Italian vocalist, vocal coach, and instructor based in New York City, Daniele has had a remarkable musical journey. Her talent has led her to perform at prestigious festivals and venues, like Jazz at Lincoln Center and Expo Dubai 2020 with the Italian National Jazz Orchestra. Simona participated in the Milan jazz festival JAZZMI and the Peperoncino Jazz Festival New York edition, as well as the Sicilia Jazz Festival in Palermo, leaving a lasting impression on the audience. She even had the opportunity to perform at historical locations and museums such as Castello Sforzesco, Pinacoteca di Brera, and Museo Del ‘900.
